When to see a doctor
- Call 911 now: swelling of the lips, mouth, throat or tongue, fast or hard breathing, or a tight throat, after any product.
- Your doctor: a rash where you put scent that is persistent, keeps coming back or is severe. A dermatologist can patch test you.
- Your doctor: a sense of smell that has not come back to normal in a few weeks.
- Your doctor: a change in how your body usually smells, or a body odor that self-care has not fixed. See Body odor.
I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. This is self-education. Every figure on this page is the one a paper or a guideline gave, quoted from it. Talk to a physician who has your history about any rash or allergy. Swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, or trouble breathing, is an emergency: 911.
