- Call 911 or go to the ER: black or dark red poop, or a lot of blood in it.
- Urgent care or your doctor today: bloating with vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, with a stomach ache, or with a fever. A lump in your belly. Unable to poop, pee or fart.
- Your doctor: bloated regularly, still bloated after changing your diet, weight loss without trying, or blood in your poop.
- Your doctor: belly bloating and discomfort, or a change in your poop, for 3 weeks.
- Your doctor before pharmacy medicines: past 40 with new or changed symptoms, blood in your poop, losing weight, or recent travel abroad.
I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. This is self-education. Every dose on this page is the one a trial or a label used, quoted from it. It is not a prescription. Talk to a physician who has your history before any medicine or procedure. Blood in your poop, black poop, or weight loss without trying: see a doctor first.
