When to see a doctor
  • Memory problems affecting day-to-day life: see your doctor. Stress, anxiety, depression and poor sleep can all cause memory problems.
  • Easily distracted or forgetful, losing things, struggling to finish tasks, since school, and it affects work or study: see your doctor about ADHD. See Adult ADHD.
  • You often spell words wrong, confuse words that look alike, or read things several times before they make sense: ask about a dyslexia assessment. It is done by an educational psychologist or a dyslexia specialist, not a doctor.
  • Loud snoring, gasping or stopped breathing in sleep, and tired all day: see your doctor about sleep apnea.
  • Memory problems with pins and needles, or feeling weak and tired: ask your doctor about vitamin B12.
  • Using cannabis often: it can impair memory and learning. Tell the doctor.
  • Low mood or no interest in things, most of the day for more than 2 weeks: see your doctor.

I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. This is self-education. Every dose on this page is the one a trial or a label used, quoted from the source. It is not a prescription. Talk to a physician who has your history before anything on a prescription.
