When to see a doctor
- Falling asleep or fighting sleep while driving: do not drive until a doctor has the sleepiness under control.
- Breathing that stops and starts in your sleep, gasping or choking noises, or always feeling very tired in the day: see a doctor, for sleep apnea.
- Shaking, sweating, a fast heartbeat and confusion, without diabetes: see a doctor, for low blood sugar.
- Tired with thirst, peeing more and weight loss: ask for an urgent appointment.
- Tired for a few weeks with no clear reason, tiredness that affects your daily life, or tired with weight loss or mood changes: see a doctor.
I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. This is self-education. Every dose on this page is the one a trial or a guideline used, quoted from it. It is not a prescription. Talk to a physician who has your history if the slump is extreme or comes with other symptoms.
