## Start today

1. Move your vitamin C to a daily slot next to breakfast, starting tomorrow.

## Why it works

Two jobs. As a helper, it gives electrons that keep the metal ions inside certain enzymes working. Those include the enzymes that build stable collagen, the one that makes norepinephrine, and the family that edits chemical tags on DNA and on the cell's oxygen sensors. Separately, it is a reusable antioxidant: the body can recharge it instead of using it up. The gene-control role is the part most supplement copy never mentions.

## Where it fits

Vitamin C is a move in 3 protocols. Each one opens the plan it sits in.
