## Start today

1. Stir ground fenugreek seed into your biggest carbohydrate meal and judge it on your fasting glucose.

## Why it works

Roughly a third of the seed is gel-forming soluble fiber, and that fiber does most of the blood-sugar work. It slows carb absorption physically, not through any receptor. Its saponins carry the separate testosterone and libido claims.

## Where it fits

Fenugreek is a move in 2 protocols. Each one opens the plan it sits in.
